Spotted by Notebook Italia at a Hong Kong trade fair, KB2 is a self-contained PC that is stuffed into a travel-sized, folding keyboard. Let’s have a look at the specifications of KB2 foldable computer at a glance: PiPO plans to begin selling the KB2 in May. Pricing hasn’t been revealed yet.
Also, at the Hong Kong trade fair, PiPO showed off its other keyboard PC known as KB1. The PiPO KB1 is already on sale, says Notebook Italia. As PiPO’s KB1 isn’t foldable, it appears to be about three times bigger than a folded up KB2.
The PiPO has two versions of the PiPO KB1, both of which have an Intel Atom processor, with the choice of 2GB or 4GB of RAM and 32GB or 64GB of storage. The first version is based upon the same insides as the KB2 above, while the other one is a cheaper model with Intel Atom Z3736F or Z3735F (Bay Trail) SoCs with 2GB of RAM. The I/O on the back panel includes; 1x VGA, 1x HDMI, 2x USB ports, an RJ-45 Ethernet port, a slot for microSD, audio jacks, plus an on/off button. The PiPO KB1 includes 802.11ac Wi-Fi and stereo speakers on the sides and includes a 6,000mAh battery.
