According to reports from The New York Times, a team of hackers who executed the attack as early as March on the South Korea-based company appear to be from China, known as the Codoso Group who managed to gain access to LoopPay’s corporate network. The incident was framed as a case of international, possibly corporate, espionage, rather than just another hack. The breach was discovered in August, giving the hackers a full five months access to the network....

The deceased identified as Rosli Othman, 35, was found dead next to his mobile phone, charger and an extension wire at his friend’s house in the town of Jasin. His friend alerted police after he discovered what had happened. “The deceased, who was a labourer, was found by his friend at around 11.30pm in an unconscious state alongside his mobile phone, charger and an extension cord,” Jasin Police Chief DSP Arshad told Bernama, the country’s local news agency....

Darkode has been a marketplace where cybercriminals can purchase and trade hacking tools and it has been in existence since at least 2008. Microsoft will be releasing a separate standalone Cortana Companion App for each mobile system. However Microsoft said that the Cortana for Android and iOS will do exactly the same tasks it would do on a Windows operating system. According to Microsoft, Cortana Companion App will be available for Android in late June and for iPhone and iPad by the end of this year. Cortana on iOS or Android won’t be as powerful as the Windows variant because of various integrations, Microsoft is still providing notification support on both operating systems....

iFixit, a company known for “teardowns” of consumer electronic devices, decided to do a teardown of Surface Book 2 to check the internal components and performed several tests to calculate the repairability score. In the teardown video(below) of Surface Book 2 released by iFixit, the company has awarded the Surface Book 2 a score of 1/10 for repairability based on the difficulty of dismantling it, which is not bad in comparison to its predecessor, Surface Laptop which had scored 0/10....

Once the problem has been resolved, the battery level of the Windows 10 machines will become equal to the Windows 8 machines said an Intel spokesman.
