Notebook Italia stated that some Russian online shops have started to update the lists revealing preview the features and prices of the both models , ASUS ZenPad 7 ( Z170C) and ASUS ZenPad 7 3G ( Z170CG). The two tablet should have a design very similar to that of FonePad , with a polycarbonate frame and a rough finish on the cover , which is interrupted only at the lower edge smooth. The rear camera has been moved in the upper left, while the ASUS logo is now readable in the horizontal and not more vertically. Probably they will be declined in more colors , including classic black ( Z170C – 1A013A) and white (Z170C – 1B009A) . The ZenPad 7 will come with a 7-inch display with 1024 x 600 pixel resolution, 1GB of RAM. It will be powered by Intel’s new Atom x3 line either C3200RK or x3 x3 – C3230RK (SoFIA 3G – R) and will clock at 1.4 GHz. It will come in a 8GB as well as a 16GB version with storage expandable with a microSD card slot up to 64GB . On board will be an integrated module WiFi 802.11n and Bluetooth , in addition to a battery of 3950 mAh , capable of running for 9 hours video playback, 30.9 hours in web browsing with WiFi active and 29 hours on 3G. The operating system is Android 5.0 lollipop series. The ASUS ZenPad 7 weighs 270 grams and measures 189 x 108 x 9 mm. It will be on sale, according to the pre-orders of the first shop, in July at a price of 139 Euros ( Z170C ) and 159 euro ( Z170CG ) . ZenPad 8, will come with a 8-inch display with 2048 x 1536 pixel resolution and and have a 4:3 aspect ratio like the Nexus 9. No other details are known about the tablet, but it is speculated that it might draw power from an Intel Atom Z3560 processor, which powers the current Zenfone 2.
